Our bass guitar music students can experience musical flavors from all different genres including, Jazz, Classical, Rock, Folk, Blues, and R&B. Our online music classes will fully prepare you for the style, workload, and expectations of the music industry. Our Online Music Instruction Course is a major first step for musicians who want to master their instrument and learn valuable music production techniques.
At Legacy Music Institute we emphasize the fundamentals of good piano-playing while offering individuals a musical diet that includes many different styles such as classical, blues, and pop. This approach keeps individuals motivated and earns them recognition from their peers. Individuals will learn important skills such as sight-reading, theory, chord harmonization, transposition, and improvisation.
Beginning individuals are taught first position guitar chords, scales and arpeggios as well as the fundamentals of music theory. Intermediate and advanced individuals continue to perfect these skills and are guided in the development and performance of their own original material. Legacy Music Institute teachers frequently play together with the individuals, providing guidance and accompaniment.
Legacy Music Institute offers private lessons in Saxophone, woodwinds and brass, depending on site and faculty availability. Students learn proper technique, rhythm interpretation, note reading, theory and performance from working professionals with extensive experience in teaching music at all levels.
Vocal individuals are urged to enhance their private study by working with one of Legacy Music Institute’s jam bands or ensembles, since this is the way most vocal music is actually performed. The ability to interact with other musicians, matched by age and ability, provides a powerful stimulus for learning and creates an exciting performance and social setting for a student’s overall musical growth and development.
Legacy Music Institute drum individuals will acquire all of the skills necessary to be a successful drummer in a band. Lessons will focus on rhythm, coordination and stick techniques as well as complex skills such as four-way coordination and polyrhythms.
Many of the world's percussion instruments are able to provide effects for the music in addition to making rhythmic contributions. Hand percussion has many examples of this from popular instruments like the tambourine maracas and wood blocks to rarer types including chimes cabasas and guiros. Specialty instruments like these are available from many of the leading world percussion brands such as LP (short for Latin Percussion) and Meinl although there are some manufacturers who specialize - as a case in point Remo and Pearl are drum makers and their contributions to the world percussion market are largely exclusive to various styles of drum
